How to Fix “Pardon our dust! We’re working on something amazing”

WooCommerce 9.1 introduced a Site Visibility feature which allows you to take your website offline and hide it behind a Coming Soon style page.

By default, this displays the message “Pardon our dust! We’re working on something amazing — check back soon!”

Removing this page is a simple task, but not entirely obvious if you’ve been using WooCommerce for some time!

The Default Screen

These are accessed under WooCommerce > Settings in the Site Visiibility tab

There are several possible settings:

Coming soon - Your site is hidden from visitors behind a “Coming soon” landing page until it’s ready for viewing. You will need to be logged into your WordPress website to be able to view the site

Optional: Display a “coming soon” message on your store pages only - the rest of your site will remain visible.
Optional: Share your site with anyone using a private link.
